The Marshall House is a beautiful hotel full of history and hauntings. They have received several accolades including Tripadvisor's Traveler's Choice Hotel of 2020! In the past, the hotel acted as a hospital during two Yellow Fever Epidemics and for the Union soldiers during the civil war. The hotel has a timeline of the one-hundred and sixty-seven years it’s been standing on the second and third floor along with artifacts found during their restoration of the building. You can book a room from a Petite Queen size to The Mary Marshall Suite. All rooms come with complimentary breakfast, WiFi, and a brochure with 15% off select shops around the town.(1) To save more it is best to book strait from the Marshall House website linked below.
The Marshall House is one of the most haunted places in Savannah. Guests have often reported waking up in the middle of the night to their faucet being turned on or seeing a man in a Union soldier uniform walking up the stairs. For the most paranormal experience, the Marshall Hotel suggests you to request a room on the fourth floor. This floor is reported to have an even extra spooky experience. A review on TripAdvisor from Becky and James reports having their lights turned off and on and hearing children run back and forth down the hall, only to find out they were the only ones staying on the fourth floor that night.
