Moon River Brewing Company

The Moon River Brewing company is thought to be one of if not the most haunted place in Savannah, Georgia. It has even been sought out by the The Travel Channel: Ghost Adventures and BuzzFeed Unsolved!This may be because of the many hats it has worn throughout the years(hotel, hospital, coal warehouse, and now brewery). Some of the many ghosts that haunt this place include: James Stark, a man who was shot and killed after insulting his doctor, he has been known to push people randomly on the first and second floor. A mysterious lady has been seen walking up to the bar and vanishing in front of a crowd of people. Miscellaneous hospital guests have been heard asking people to play on the third floor. Lastly, “Toby”, the most violent spirit who is seen only in the basement. Toby is reported to be a boy with a temper that has choked a woman who was looking for the bathroom.(1)

Even if you don’t care for ghosts, the Moon River Brewing Company is the perfect place to unwind and have fun. From their award winning hand-crafted beer, to the wine and mixed drinks, this bar will have the perfect drink for you. They also have a dining area with a full menu filled with American food. You can also host banquets or events here in either the Beer Cellar or Beer Garden.(2) The Brewing Company is currently only taking reservations for banquets and events as of now, but walk-ins at the bar and restaurants are welcome!
